Working the house room by room, our crew tags every carton and writes the price up front, so the load reaches the new home without a single break.

Know the number before you sign

List below what has to move, and our Spokane team usually has one written flat figure back in your hands before the day wraps up.

Or call (888) 278-9005

Hit send and your note lands on a desk at our Spokane office; the written rate heads back your way and should reach you before the day wraps up. There is no charge for the figure and no string attached to asking — sit with the number as long as you like, since saying yes or no is entirely up to you. One of our own estimators, and no one else, builds your quote, and the details you share never travel past that desk.

Full Packing Service

Ask a Spokane household what throws a move off the rails and most point to the packing, the chore everyone keeps putting off until one panicked evening is all that remains. Turn it over to us and it is no longer your problem to carry.

What the full pack covers

Our crew moves through the house in sequence, packing each item to make the trip, and the truck shows up already loaded with cartons, tape, paper, and dish barrels. Each box goes out labeled for its room at the new address, with the materials and the hours both written into the quote you have already signed.

Every room, top to bottom

Plates, glassware, shelves of books, the linens, the dresser drawers, all of it gets packed, including the spots people dread most: the daylight basement, the garage shelving, the cupboard under the stairs.

In a South Hill split-level those cartons travel up out of the basement; on a Green Bluff acreage home, the obstacle is the gravel lane and the long carry to the truck. The crew clears each space in turn, wraps every item to suit it, and stacks the truck so the load rides steady on the I-90 grade.

Materials we bring

Item What it protects
Dish barrels & double-walled cartons Dinnerware, stemware, the china hutch
Fragile-rated dish & glass boxes Anything breakable
Wardrobe boxes Hanging closets
Made-to-measure crating Mirrors, framed art, lamps, TVs
Room tags Every box, so it lands where you meant

The day-before checklist

  • Daylight basement, closets, and the under-stair cupboard packed, none of it dumped on your last night
  • A scope held to the kitchen and breakables when you would rather pack the rest yourself
  • The whole-house pack usually run the afternoon before, leaving move day to the load-out and the road
  • A smaller place packed and on the truck the same morning, getting you out ahead of a snow storm
  • The same Pettinger crew on the packing and the driving, so no finger-pointing over a damaged box

Why it earns its keep

A box built by a professional packer survives the road in a way a midnight rush job never will. We have seen more than one kitchen arrive in shards because the owner stacked glasses bare in a borrowed box.

Hand the breakables to the crew and federal coverage backs them: $0.60 per pound under released value, or step up to a full-value tier at roughly one to three percent of whatever you declare.

Part of the job

What the team takes care of

  • Cartons, tape, and paper supplied, plus the fragile-rated dish, glass, and wardrobe boxes for breakables

  • Plates, stemware, and the china hutch packed into dish barrels and double-walled boxes sized to fit them

  • Mirrors, framed art, lamps, and flat-screens crated to measure

  • Each box tagged for its room at the far end so it ends up exactly where it belongs

  • Daylight basement, closets, and the under-stair cupboard all packed, never left for your last night

  • The same W-2 crew on the packing and the driving, which heads off any finger-pointing over damage

  • A kitchen-and-fragiles-only scope when you would rather handle the rest yourself

  • Hours and materials written into the move quote, with no carton charge surfacing afterward

Hourly-Rate Crews

Starting from$120/hr

That Spokane hourly rate already includes a two-mover team on a three-hour minimum, the truck backed right up to your door, and every bit of gear that rides with it — quilted pads, straps, ramps, dollies, and the floor runners we roll out over the hardwood and tile common in a split-level or daylight-basement home. None of it surfaces later as a surprise line, because every piece is built into the number we hand you.

Walk us through what you have. Around Spokane that might be hauling boxes up out of a daylight basement, or threading a piano through a tight split-level doorway — and whatever the day throws at it, the same W-2 crew stays on the job from the first carton to the last while the written rate never budges.

The things people ask us most

Worth knowing before you book

Do you pack the whole house or just the breakables?
Your choice entirely. We can pack the whole home, right down to the daylight basement and the cupboard under the stairs, or limit it to the kitchen and the fragile items while you take care of the rest. Your quote tracks the scope you pick, and no surprise carton charges turn up later on.
Do you pack the day before or on the morning of the move?
For a full house we usually pack the afternoon prior, leaving move day for just the load-out and the drive. A smaller Spokane place we can pack and get on the road within a single morning, which handily gets you out ahead of a winter storm. Whatever your closing or lease calls for, we set the pack timing around it together.
Is it the same crew that packs and then drives?
Yes, the same Pettinger Family Movers W-2 employees handle both phases. It matters, because a dented box or a chipped glass can never turn into an argument over whose fault it is. The person who taped the box shut is the person who loaded it, and our coverage stands behind all of it.
What protection covers the things you pack?
The default on every job is released value at $0.60 per pound, and for about one to three percent of whatever value you declare you can step up to the full-value tier. That protection applies to everything our crew packs, which is one more reason to hand us the breakables.
